2010 Website Competition Rules of Entry

Web Branding is proud to announce our 2010 Website Design Competition.
The time is here to put your creative juices to the test and design a homepage for any website of your choice.
This web design competition is open to everyone at school or university, whether you’re a skilled graphic designer, someone with a natural eye for good web design, unemployed, sat at home looking after your children, bored on your lunch break..anything..ANYONE..get involved!

SIMPLY JUST CREATE A HOME PAGE FOR A WEBSITE..thats all!

The Web Branding Website Design Competition is extremely easy to enter and doesn’t require a lot of your time. Scribbles on the backs of envelopes, a video describing how your website will look, a song!, pictures, paintings, models...absolutely anything you can think of will be warmly welcomed. Think unique, how would your dream website look?

These days, online marketing and brand building are big business and it is becoming more and more important to grab your visitor’s attention. This website design competition is all about creating a distinctive, eye grabbing and memorable website homepage.

Web Branding are in the business of online branding and web design and will ensure that the winning entry will be turned into a fully functioning website all property of one lucky winner.

The winning website will receive a good deal of online branding and coverage.

All entries for the Web Branding 2010 Website Design Competition are to be sent in before 30th November.

ALL ENTRIES WILL BE FEATURED ON OUR WEBSITE AND BLOG

The top five entries will be chosen soon after we have all the website design competition entries in and these five will be featured on www.webbranding.co.uk/websitecompetition.asp

Our friends at the ‘Made in Sheffield Magazine’ have also kindly agreed to feature the top 5 entries in the magazine along with a special feature on the winner when the website is built for the winner.
Then it’s down to the PUBLIC VOTE to decide the WINNER
 

Terms and Conditions for entering the Web Branding 2010 Website Design Competition

• All designs must be original material
• Keep it clean please, no adult only sites
• 1 entry per person
• The closing date for entries is 30th November 2010 (Web Branding reserve the right to change this date at our discretion)
• The winner will be announced on 15th January 2011 and published in 'Made in Sheffield' magazine

The winning Design and subsequent website build and launch

• The winning design will be decided by the public vote, via our online voting system
• The Top 5 website designs will put on the web branding website for votes
• The winning design will be transformed into a website after a full consultation with the winner to ensure their website is how they had designed.
• The website will be fully functional and can have 4 additional pages to complement the main homepage. (the number of additional pages is negotiable depending on the complexity of additional pages)
• A domain name will be provided for the website design competition winner. We will attempt to ensure the required name is available.
• Web Branding will fully integrate the winners new domain address to the newly built website and provide an email account.
• Upon entering the Web Branding 2010 Website Design Competition, Web Branding will offer the winner competitive hosting and maintenance solutions to ensure that your new website is always visible from the web.
• The winner will retain all intellectual property rights to the site design, artwork and any text content!
• We welcome the opportunity to work with the winner if they wish to expand their website or use our online branding and marketing expertise. If the winner chooses to expand on the original website build we will give very favourable rates for our services.
• Web Branding will honour the prize of a complete website build to the lucky winner. The prize will include the transformation of the design entry into web ready images and graphics. The complete build and integration of required functionality. Setting up an accompanying domain of the winner’s choice and taking the website live.
